Getting Started

I’m new. What should I know before my first class?

Welcome! Please arrive 15 minutes early so we can check you in, have you complete a quick waiver, and show you around.

What should I bring?
  • Comfortable clothing you can move in
  • A water bottle
  • A towel for heated classes (optional)

We also offer complimentary mats, props, and face cloths if needed.

What should I wear?

Lightweight and comfortable clothing that is easy to move in. Bare feet are perfect for class (but socks are welcome too).

Please remove all footwear at front entrance.

Which class is best for beginners?

We recommend starting with Yin or Gentle Flow. Both are a great way to ease into your practice. We are happy to assess and recommend the perfect start for you.

Booking & Arrival

Do I need to book in advance?

We recommend booking ahead to secure your spot, especially for popular classes. We also recommend students use the MindBody app but classes can always be booked in store as well.

When should I arrive?

Doors typically open 15–30 minutes before class. Arrive early and be settled on your mat at least 5 minutes before class begins.

New students should arrive 15 minutes early to sign the waiver.

Do I need to check in?

Yes, please check in with reception before each class.

What if I’m late?

Late-comers are not permitted, and the doors may be locked once class begins to maintain a calm, uninterrupted space.

Studio Experience

Are mats and props provided?

Yes! We offer complimentary mats, props, and other small comforts to make your visit easy.

Is the studio heated?

Hot yoga classes are heated, typically ranging from 34–36°C and never exceeding 40°C.

Most classes are between --- and ---°C.

What amenities are available?

We offer change rooms, secure storage cubbies, and thoughtful extras like tea, water, and post-class refreshments.

Where should I store my belongings?

Please leave valuables at home when possible and store personal items in the change rooms to keep the studio tidy and open.

Front doors will be locked when a receptionist is not on site.

Studio Etiquette

Is there a dress or scent policy?

Please mind your hygiene.

We also ask that you avoid wearing scented products (perfumes, after shave, etc.) as some students are extremely sensitive.

Can I bring my phone into the studio?

Phone use is not permitted in the studio space.

Please silence or turn off all devices including smart watches.

Is the studio quiet?

Yes. Our practice space is a quiet zone. Please keep conversations with friends and instructors in the reception area and speak softly in shared spaces.

Health & Safety

What if I have an injury or medical condition?

Please let your instructor and reception know before class. This helps us support you safely.

If you have serious allergies or medical conditions (such as heart conditions, high/low blood pressure, epilepsy, diabetes, etc.), please ensure your emergency contact information is up to date.

If any medical condition has changed, please let your instructor know.

Can I attend hot yoga if I’m pregnant or have health concerns?

We recommend speaking with your doctor before attending heated classes if you are pregnant or have any health conditions.

Should I eat before class?

It’s best to arrive well-hydrated with a light stomach. (Avoid heavy meals 2-3 hours before class.)

Can children attend classes?

Children under 16 are not permitted in adult classes unless approval has been given from management and the instructor prior to the class.

How can I stay updated on schedule changes or events?

Follow our Facebook and Instagram pages or check the website for holiday closures, schedule changes, registration periods, pass discounts, special events, etc.


Yoga is a personal, non-competitive practice.

Move at your own pace, listen to your body, and rest and hydrate whenever you need.

Most importantly, relax and enjoy! Yoga is a powerful, delightful, and transformational practice, leaving you feeling refreshed and energized. Cumulatively, the process will enrich every aspect of your life, providing balance and inspiration for body, mind, and spirit!
